8.1 The first reaction: the preparation of quinoline-8-carbonyl chloride
At room temperature, add quinoline-8-carboxylic acid (2.60g, 0.015mol), dichloroethane (30ml), and N, N-dimethylformamide (0.05g) to a three-necked flask.To the above mixture was added dropwise dichlorosulfoxide (2.38 g, 0.02 mol).Heat to reflux for 5 hours.The heating was stopped, and the solvent and residual dichlorosulfoxide were removed under reduced pressure to obtain 2.64 g of the product with a yield of 92 %
