[Uses]

MDA 19 is a selective agonist of the human peripheral cannabinoid (CB2) receptor. A cell-based functional assay showed MDA is an inverse agonist of the CB2 receptor in rat. Acts as an inverse agonist at the rat CB2 receptor. Reported Ki values are 16.3 and 1130 nM for human CB2 and CB1 receptor respectively. MDA19 was effective in attenuating tactile allodynia in neuropathic rats. MDA19 thus has potential for alleviating neuropathic pain without producing adverse effects in the central nervous system.Synthetic Cannabinoids
