[Uses]

Verrucofortine is a diketopiperazine alkaloid derived from tryptophan and leucine, isolated from Penicillium species. In vivo, verrucforine exhibits no apparent toxicity in mice even at high doses. Verrucofortine has not been intensively investigated.
