| Hazard Information | Back Directory | [Description]
Cyetpyrafen is an insecticide and acaricide. Currently little information is available regarding its environmental fate, ecotoxicology or impacts on human health. | [Uses]
Yizuomanjing is used in insecticidal acaricidal synergistic composition and its application. | [Production Methods]
Cyetpyrafen is manufactured through a modular, multi-step synthesis designed to efficiently assemble its characteristic pyrazole-carboxamide scaffold and heavily substituted aromatic system while controlling stereochemistry and halogenated impurities. Industrial routes typically begin with construction of the pyrazole core from a beta dicarbonyl precursor and hydrazine derivative, followed by selective chlorination and introduction of the trifluoromethyl-substituted phenyl ring through either nucleophilic aromatic substitution or metal-catalysed coupling, depending on the producer’s proprietary route. In parallel, the secondary amine fragment is prepared and activated for amide formation. The key step is the coupling of the pyrazole-carboxylic acid (or its acid chloride/mixed anhydride) with the amine under dehydrating conditions that minimise side reactions from the electron-rich heterocycle. | [Mechanism of action]
