Zaloglanstat (ISC-27864) is a selective and orally active inhibitor of microsomal prostaglandin E synthase-1 (mPGES-1) with an IC50 of 5 nM. Zaloglanstat inhibits PGE2 release of IC50 at 161 nM and 154 nM in whole blood of pigs and dogs, respectively. Zaloglanstat can be used in studies of asthma, osteoarthritis and neurodegenerative diseases[1][2]. | [References]
