Trovitch Mn-Precatalyst [((Ph2PPr)PDI)Mn] is a formally zerovalent manganese complex, containing phosphine-substituted PDI (pyridine diimine) ligand. This hydrosilylation reagent can be synthesized by the reduction of (Ph2PPrPDI)MnCl2. Its electronic structure has been studied.
