SB-FI-26 is an inhibitor of fatty acid binding protein 5 (FABP5) and FABP7 (Kis = 0.93 and 0.4 µM, respectively).1,2 It inhibits arachidonoyl ethanolamide (AEA; Item No. 90050) uptake in wild-type but not FABP5-/- HeLa cells when used at a concentration of 20 µM.1 In vivo, SB-FI-26 (20 mg/kg) reduces nocifensive behavior in phase one of the formalin test and carrageenan-induced thermal hyperalgesia in mice.WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use. | [References]
