Polyoxin B in my country is colorless, needle-shaped crystals with an MPa of 180°C. Pure polyoxin B in Japan is amorphous crystals with an MPa of 160°C (decomposition). Polyoxin B is readily soluble in water but insoluble in organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, acetone, chloroform, benzene, and ether. It is stable to UV light, acidic solutions, and neutral solutions, but unstable to alkaline solutions. It is stable for over three years when stored at room temperature. The industrial product appears as a light brown or grayish-brown powder. | [Uses]
