Shanciol B, isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of the air-dried whole plant of Pholidota imbricate Hook, inhibits nitric oxide (NO) production and 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazil (DPPH) radical scavenging activity[1].
