[Chemical Properties] Blue light red powder.
[Uses] Disperse red 2BL-S is mainly used for polyester dyeing, suitable for high temperature and high pressure method and hot melt method. It is also used for polyester fabric printing and mixing black dyes with disperse orange R-SF, disperse yellow brown S-3RFL, disperse blue 2G-SF - disperse black 2B-SF.
[Synthesis] 3-[ethyl[4-[(6-nitrobenzothiazol-2-yl)azo]phenyl]amino]propiononitrile was synthesized by 6-nitro-2-aminobenzothiazole diazotized and coupled with N-ethyl-N-cyanoethylaniline.
