Mercaptoethylguanidine (10 mg/kg/day; ip; for 5 days) dihydrobromide ameliorates oxidative stress parameters and antioxidant enzyme activities in forty-five Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 200 to 250 g with esophagus uninjured[2].
