[Definition]

ChEBI: Arnicolide D is a sesquiterpene lactone.

[in vivo]

Arnicolide D (4-8 mg/kg; intraperitoneal injection; 15 days) has anti-melanoma effects in the B16F10 allograft mouse model^[3].

Animal Model:	Male 6-week old C57/BL6 mice treated B16F10^[3]
Dosage:	4 and 8 mg/kg
Administration:	Intraperitoneal injection (i.p.); 15 days
Result:	Reduced the average tumor weight by 53.7% compared with the vehicle-treated group at a dose of 4 mg/kg. Did not cause death, toxic symptoms in mice, and no abnormalities were found during autopsy. Was more effective at 4 mg/kg than at 8 mg/kg in suppressing tumor growth.
