General procedure for the synthesis of 5-amino-2-(piperidin-1-yl)benzonitrile from 5-nitro-2-piperidinobenzonitrile: 5-nitro-2-(piperidin-1-yl)benzonitrile was dissolved in an appropriate amount of solvent, and the reduction reaction was carried out by the addition of NaBH4 for 30 min. Upon completion of the reaction, 2.0 g of yellow solid (compound 11) was added for subsequent processing. | [References]
