It is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of 13,14-dihydro-15-keto PGF2α by GC- or LC-mass spectrometry. 13,14-dihydro-15-keto PGF2α is the first prominent plasma metabolite of PGF2α in the 15-hydroxy PGDH pathway.
