[Uses] Guanidine sulfamate (GAS) is often used as a synergistic FR additive to enhance the flame retardancy of polyester and polyamide plastic and to develop durable FR PA6 fabric through a facile exhaustion process. Guanidine sulfamate is already reported as a flame retardant agent in PVC and PA6. Moreover, it is proposed to be combined with other flame retardants to improve its efficiency.
