DISULPHUR DECAFLUORIDE is non-combustible. Decomposes when heated above 400°C in air to generate toxic and corrosive fumes of sulfur oxides and sulfur fluorides. Shows little chemical reactivity at room conditions. Acts as a strong oxidizing agent and as a fluorinating agent at elevated temperature as DISULPHUR DECAFLUORIDE begins to break down. If this chemical gets into the eyes, remove any contact lenses at once and irrigate immediately for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting upper and lower lids. Seek medical attention immediately.
