Example 34 Synthesis of 3-[7-fluoro-2-(4-fluorobenzyl)-3-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-isoindol-1-yl]-N-(5-aminosulfonylpyridin-2-yl)propanamide
A. Preparation of 6-aminopyridine-3-sulfonamide
6-Chloropyridine-3-sulfonamide (200 mg, 1 mmol) was placed in a sealed tube and 2 mL of 28% aqueous ammonia solution was added. The reaction mixture was heated to 110°C and kept for 4 hours. After completion of the reaction, the mixture was diluted with brine and 6-aminopyridine-3-sulfonamide was collected by filtration to give a white solid (120 mg, 67% yield). | [References]
