It is also used in addition reactions which are typical in alkyne reactions such as halogenation, hydrogenation, hydrohalogenation, hydration, oxidative cleavage, nitrile formation and acidity of terminal alkynes. Polymerisation and substitution reactions are also useful in chemical synthesis. |
