Gasoline, pyrolysis is a complex combination of hydrocarbons obtained by the distillation of products from the manufacture of alkenes, especially ethylene and propylene, by thermal cracking and steam cracking processes. The fraction boils in the range of approximately 30degC to 200degC (86degF to 392degF) and consists prediminantly of unsatd. hydrocarbons. This stream is likely to contain 10 vol. % or more of benzene and its alkyl derivatives. |
