The reaction was carried out with 4-aminopyridine (20 mmol) and chloroacetyl chloride (24 mmol) in 25 mL of acetonitrile with the addition of triethylamine (30 mmol) as a base, and the reaction was stirred at room temperature for 8 hours. After the reaction was completed, the target product N-(4-pyridyl)-2-chloroacetamide was obtained by post-processing according to bypass operation method II in 64.3% yield. | [References]
