以2-((1R,4R,4aS,8aR)-4,7-二甲基-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,8a-八氢萘-1-基)丙烯酸为原料合成(R)-2-((1R,4R,4aS,8aS)-4,7-二甲基-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,8a-八氢萘-1-基)丙酸的一般步骤如下:将100克(0.43摩尔)2-((1R,4R,4aS,8aR)-4,7-二甲基-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,8a-八氢萘-1-基)丙烯酸溶于800毫升氯仿中。在室温下,以1.5克钯碳作为催化剂,在氢气压力为1巴的条件下反应过夜。反应完成后,通过硅藻土过滤反应混合物,并用氯仿洗涤滤饼。最后,减压蒸馏回收溶剂,得到固体产物(R)-2-((1R,4R,4aS,8aS)-4,7-二甲基-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,8a-八氢萘-1-基)丙酸99克(0.42摩尔),收率为98%。
