Description
N-Desthiobiotin-N-bis(PEG4-NHS ester) is a PEG linker containing two NHS esters groups and desthiobiotin, which is a modified form of biotin that bonds to avidin, streptavidin and other biotin-binding protein-based affinity columns and are recognized by anti-biotin antibodies. The NHS ester can label the primary amines (-NH2) of proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing molecules.
Uses
N-Desthiobiotin-N-bis(PEG4-NHS ester) is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1].
