Uses
Hydroxytyrosol 1-O-glucoside (Dopaol glucoside) is a glycoside with antioxidant activity. Hydroxytyrosol 1-O-glucoside is also an epoxide hydrolase 2 inhibitor[1].
Definition
ChEBI: 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-ethyl-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside is a beta-D-glucoside having hydroxytyrosol as the anomeric substituent. Isolated from Zantedeschia aethiopica and Picrorhiza scrophulariiflora, it exhibits antioxidant activity. It has a role as a metabolite and an antioxidant. It is a beta-D-glucoside and a member of catechols. It is functionally related to a hydroxytyrosol.
