Description
2,6-Bis(trimethylstannyl)-4,8-bis(5-(tripropylsilyl)thiophen-2-yl)benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b’]dithiophene is also named BDTT-Si. The absorption maximum of BDTT-Si is at 380 nm. It can synthesize polymers with ftaz-based monomers through Stille-coupling polycondensation. Due to the complementary absorption of donor and acceptor, the power conversion efficiency, open circuit voltage, and short-circuit current density of the polymer solar cells prepared by this polymer are increased.
