Crystallographic analysis of 6,11-dihydroxy-5,12-naphthacenedione has been reported. Study indicates the presence of (3Z,3′Z)-3,3′-(ethane-1,2-diylidene)bis[isobenzofuran-1(3H)-one] as impurity.
