2F industrially produced by Solvay Specialty Polymers. The resulting perfluoropolymer′s functional groups are in their lithium sulfonate form, SO

? D79-25BS-Li is delivered as a colloidal dispersion in highly pure deionized water. It contains the perfluoropolymer′s neutral lithium salt form (R-SO
3Li) of low equivalent weight (EW) 790 g/mole SO
3H at very high solid content of 25 % by weight which allows a large variety of subsequent formulations without additional pre-concentration steps. D79-25BS-Li contains "chemically stabilized" perfluoropolymer in which a large amount of polymer end groups are converted to their inert "CF
3" configuration.
