Potassium tert-butoxide can be used to catalyze the michael addition reaction, pinacol rearrangement reaction and ramberg-backlund rearrangement reaction. potassium tert-butoxide is used as a condensing agent, which can be used to catalyze darzens condensation reaction and stobbe condensation reaction.
