Description

A novel highly enantioselective allyl-transfer reagent. Excellent regio-, diastereo-, and enantioselectivities are obtained for the addition of allyl nucleophiles to aldehydes. Though this reagent is used in stoichiometric amounts, the chiral ligand and monocyclopentadienyltitanium trichloride can be easily recovered.
