Description

(R)-6-Methoxy-2,5,7,8-tetramethylchromane-2-carboxylic acid is a water-soluble derivative of Vitamin E (sc-205887). (R)-6-Methoxy-2,5,7,8-tetramethylchromane-2-carboxylic acid has been described in a study to inhibit the activity of mushroom tyrosinase. Inhibition of tyrosinase activity by (R)-6-Methoxy-2,5,7,8-tetramethylchromane-2-carboxylic acid suggested its use as tyrosine inhibitor.
