Description
Astrophloxine is a fluorescent dye which acts as a positively charged probe to resolve cholesterol in solution on cell membranes observed towards the spectral short-wave region. Studies suggest that Astrophloxine is beneficial in identifying the changes in the microenvironment surrounding the cell membrane. Furthermore, Astrophloxine in conjunction with microelectrophoresis can be used to research hypercholesterinemia, atherosclerosis, and D-hypovitaminosis in vitro by using the positively charge probe as a ligand to identify the compounds of interest.Related product price
