5-(4-Pyridyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol (PTT) may be used as ligand in the preparation of Zn(II) coordination frameworks under solvothermal conditions.It may be used for the encapsulation of ZnO nanorods for their surface modification.
