Cesium 2,2-Dimethylpropanoate is used in preparation of Tetrahydrocyclopropa[b]naphthalenones.Pivalic Acid is a metabolite of oral cephem (β-lactam) antibiotics such as S-1108, containing pivaloyl moieties.
