Description

S-Methyl methanethiosulfonate was used as sulfenylating agent for β-keto sulfoxides, methylene compounds, half-esters of malonic acidsand aryl Grignard reagents. It was also used as a reagent to trap the natural thiol-disulfide state of the proteins.
