Description

(Ethoxycarbonylmethyl)dimethylsulfonium bromide was used in synthesis of α-sulfanyl-β-amino acid derivatives by using nanocrystalline magnesium oxide. It was used during cyclopropanation of (-)-(S)-2-(p-tolylsulfinyl)cyclopent-2-enone.
