Dichloroborane methyl sulfide complex is a reactant for: hydroboration reactions, pyrolysis reactions, addition reactions, preparation of unsymmetrical borafluorenes, cyclization reactions, dismutation followed by haloboration of azadiboriridine to give boron-nitrogen clusters and Markovnikov hydroborations.
