Petri dishes filled with malt extract agar, separately inoculated with fungal strains and cultivated to obtain an abundant and even growth, were used as the test surface in a study assessing the effect of two aerosolization methods on the release of fungal propagules from a contaminated agar surface.Malt extract has also been used in a kinetic study to investigate microbial growth using the Monod equation.Related product price
