Description

Nimodipine is an antagonist of L-type voltage-dependent Ca2+ channels (Ki = 5.3 nM). The inhibitory effect of nimodipine is voltage dependent. Nimodipine reduces the impact of delayed ischemic neurological deficits following subarachnoid hemorrhage.
