Use

CYCLODODECYLMETHYL ETHER is a clear, colorless to pale yellowish liquid, d25 25 0.910–0.915, n20 D 1.472–1.475,with awoody, cedar-like odor. It can be prepared fromdodecanol sodium by reaction with methyl halogenide. It is used as a stable wood fragrance in technical perfumery.
