| Uses | Anti-Flotillin 2 antibody is suitable for:
- indirect immunofluorescence (10-20μg/mL using human HEK-293T cells).
- western blot (0.5-1μg/mL using whole extract of mouse 3T3 cells).
- western blot (2-4μg/mL using whole extract of rat PC12 cells).
The antibody has been used for western blotting of proteins isolated from HeLa cells, primary mouse oesophageal epithelial cells and HEK-293 cells.

Western Blotting (1 paper) | | Biological Activity | Flotillins are scaffold proteins which are crucial for the formation and dynamics of lipid rafts. They are associated in different biological processes, such as endocytosis, phagocytosis, neuronal regeneration, insulin signaling etc. FLOT2 (Flotillin 2) is a target of miR-34a. It is up-regulated in nasopharyngeal carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma, breast cancer and gastric cancer. Knockdown of FLOT2 reduces cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. FLOT2 interacts with γ-catenin and regulates cell-cell adhesion in non-malignant epithelial cells. |
