Bax is regulated by p53 and increased Bax levels have been associated with cell death stimuli. Alterations in Bax have been linked to several neurological diseases and cancers . Monoclonal Anti-Bax antibody is specific for the epitope within amino acids 3-16 of the human Bax protein. The antibody reacts with Bax in bovines and humans, but not in mice and rats. |
