Soluble in ethanol, acetone, chloroform, insoluble in water. | Uses | Dibenzylideneacetone is used as a ligand to prepare palladium catalysts, which are widely used in catalytic hydrogenation, coupling, carbonylation, alkyne ring trimerization, etc. | Preparation | Dibenzylideneacetone is obtained by the reaction of benzaldehyde and acetone.
