| Synthesis | N-butyl sorbate was synthesized from sorbic acid and n-butanol with p-toluenesulfonic acid as raw material and p-toluenesulfonic acid as catalyst, and the esterification yield was up to 97.5 by using butyl acetate as a water-carrying agent and 4A molecular sieve as a water-removing agent.
