Synthesis | Synthesis of compound 22.2. To a 50 mL round bottom flask was added 1-(2-hydroxyethyl)-4-nitro-1H-pyrazole (100 mg, 0.64 mmol, 1.00 eq.), methanol (5 mL) and palladium carbon (20 mg). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature under hydrogen atmosphere for 1 hour. Upon completion of the reaction, the solid catalyst was removed by filtration.
