| Chemical Properties | Benzenesulfonohydrazides,unlike the benzenesulfonamides, are thermally unstable. They decompose, when heated in water in some cases, to form sulfides, thiosulfonates, and nitrogen; for this reason they are used as blowing agents in the production of foams.
