UsesTetrakis(acetonitrile)palladium Bis(tetrafluoroborate) is used to prepare an α-Diimine-transition metal complex, which is used as a catalyst for polymerization of olefins. It is also a catalyst used in cross coupling reaction for C-C, C-O, and C-N bond formation.
General DescriptionTetrakis(acetonitrile)palladium(II) tetrafluoroborate is a stronger Lewis acid. It participates in the preparation of 2:1 complex [Pd(1,2-bis(2′-pyridylethynyl)benzene)2](BF4]2, by Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction.
