CalFluor 488 Azide is a water-soluble probe, and its excitation band is a good match for the 488 nm laser lines (with FITC filter sets). | | Uses | CalFluor 488 Azide is a water-soluble fluorogenic azide probe. CalFluor 488 Azide is activated by Cu-catalyzed or metal-free click reaction. CalFluor 488 Azide is not fluorescent until it is reacted with alkynes[1][2]. It contains an azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing alkyne groups.
