It associates with Cdc20 and inhibits the activity of the anaphase promoting complex. The protein contains a three-layered α/β fold with three α-helices packed between two β-sheets. A decreased expression of this protein has been observed in a breast cancer cell line with chromosome instability and aneuploidy. |
