Biological ActivityANAPC11 (Anaphase promoting complex subunit 11) plays a key role in cell division by accelerating ubiquitination of cell-cycle regulators such as cyclin B and securin. It acts as the catalytic subunit of anaphase-promoting complex (APC) and helps to translocate ubiquitin from a ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme (E2) to the substrate. It controls the cell cycle progression through G1 phase of the cell cycle during protein modification.
