| Polyethylene-polyamines Usage And Synthesis |
Reactivity Profile | Polyethylene-polyamines neutralizes acids to form salts plus water in exothermic reactions. May be incompatible with isocyanates, halogenated organics, peroxides, phenols (acidic), epoxides, anhydrides, and acid halides. Reacts with strong reducing agents such as hydrides to generate flammable gaseous hydrogen. Incompatible with aluminum, zinc and other nonferrous metals (USCG, 1999). Products of combustion contain toxic and irritating gases. | Flammability and Explosibility | Not classified |
