GLO-I is a cytosolic, 42 kDa, dimeric Zn2+ metalloenzyme. | Biochem/physiol Actions | Glyoxalase I is universally expressed and involved in the protection against cellular damage due to cytotoxic metabolites such as advanced glycation end products (AGEs).
